RELIEF SERVICES (Rebuilding Hope)

The relief services arm of Sewadham was founded to assist the poor and disadvantaged and all living beings in the world around us. It also provides all necessary support to lives ravaged by nature's wrath and human follies.

It maintains strict standards of efficiency and accountability, focuses on alleviating suffering, fosters the development of people, and promotes charity and justice in the area it works.

The policies and programs of the agency reflect and express the teaching of the noble SOULS (pir), SAINTS and SEERS.

Sewadham relief services assists on the basis of need, not creed, race or nationality.

The relief services wing of Sewadham also works in the following areas:

Provide emergency, short and longer-term services to homeless women and children.

Resident participation in planning services and managing meals and food programs.

Enhanced by community partnerships for ‘specialised’/’expert’ services.

Assist homeless families with children under age five, through Day Care Services which provides for child care subsidies.

Coordinate services with other agencies for at-risk families in the community.
